Big updates on the 40 list

Two items to cross off the list this week:
1.) crunching through leaves (my boot wearing autumn fantasy)
And
2.) I have a very specific health sub-list...trying to take command of wellness. LASIK complete. Whew!

When you talk the talk...

So, I've had a few people ask if I'm keeping a blog about accomplishing all forty things on the list...
I'm hesitant to say yes, because I an horrific at keeping up a blog. Evidenced here.
But the list is going & I'm fulfilling & I will continue to offer photo support of those items realized.
I will do this.
It's one part of the training in my year long quest to be a seeker of joy.

21. Grow hair long
22. Run across Golden Gate Bridge
23. Hike all day to get to a spot thats unspoiled and beautiful. Sleep there overnight with what you brought.
24. Visit one great spa each season. Stay all day.
25. Walk in the rain
26. Take a class
27. Pray each day
28. Plant something
29. Go on a picnic
30. Be sappy
31. Ride a train
32. Do sit-ups

Just Listed! The next 10

Continue mulling through the list of 40 things (big and small) that I will check off in my 40 th year (which commences in about 3 months)....

11.) seek out good health. This means make and keep ALL necessary medical appointments. Including, but not limited to: dentist, optometrist, dermatologist, gp, gyn...all of them.
12.) call my mom, grandfather and sister once a week.
13.) plan solo trips with each of my children...make it everything they want-their current dream days.
14.) find a way to make yoga class...at least once a week. Carve out the time.
15.) take myself somewhere, in Autumn of this 40th year, to take a walk, that has leaves for me to crunch as I go.
16.) write a letter at least once a month...mail it.
17.) compliment someone every day
18.) compliment myself every day
19.) define my signature drink. (so many choices)
20.) zip line through a rainforest
